COLOR LOCK OR RINSE

Color lock or rinse could be a deep conditioning treatment to help seal your color in more OR it could be a color application that comes out after you shampoo your hair. This may involve a hooded dryer.
FULL FOIL

Full foil is sometimes more than one color applied with foils or film separating hair that will remain uncolored. It is most commonly a full head of foils. This may be a single or a double process depending on if a lightener is used.
HALF FOIL

Half foil is sometimes more than one color applied with foils or film separating the hair that will remain uncolored. It is most commonly just the top of the head and above the ears. This may be a single or a double process depending on if a lightener is used.

Placement depends on where the guest parts their hair. This may be a single or a double process depending on if a lightener is used.

Full color and full foil is more than one color that is applied with either foils or film throughout the whole head and all the hair has color on it. This may be a single or a double process depending on if a lightener is used.

MANICURE
Q: I would like to try a manicure. Which is the best type? How are they different from each other?

Answer: Our Veneer Manicure is very popular because there is some longevity to it. A Veneer Manicure is different from a regular manicure because the polish is cured under a LED light fixture, unlike regular nail polish that dries on its own.
Q: I have brittle nails; is a manicure a no-no for me?

Answer: No, your nail tech will know how to work with brittle nails.
PEDICURE
Q: I am a diabetic; is a pedicure a no-no for me?

Answer: Absolutely not, under our license we are knowledgeable of the right steps to take for someone who is diabetic.
Q: How often should I get a pedicure?

Answer: My professional opinion and experience, I would say anywhere from every 5-8 weeks. You want to give your feet time to re-callus so the skin does not become sensitive to touch.
Q: I am VERY ticklish on my feet; should I just give up on pedicures?

Answer: No, you can always ask for just toe work. You do not have to get the full essential pedicure. Our Semi Pedicure takes care of clipping the toe nails, pushing back and trimming the cuticles, and polish if you would like it or not. The semi pedicure does not include the Exfoliation Scrub, Massage and foot filing.
Q: Sometimes after a pedi, I develop itchy, little blisters on my feet; why?

Answer: You may be having a reaction to products used during your pedicure service. Let your nail tech know immediately.

Q: Which is better, spray tan or bed tan?
-
Answer: Both are awesome! Spray tan is best for an instant tan and it will gradually fade as you shower and wash your body. We recommend spray tanning for a special event. Bed tanning is great to give you a good base tan before a vacation so you have less chances of burning in the sun. Bed tanning is also perfect for warming up your body and getting vitamin D in the winter months.
Q: Are all spray tans the same?

Answer: No, every salon will use a different brand of spray tan and not every brand is the same. We use Norvell spray tanning and it gives you a beautiful tan without leaving your skin orange!
Q: When and why should I exfoliate?

Answer: You should exfoliate before both bed and spray tanning. For bed tanning it is necessary because dry skin can deflect up to 50% of the rays so you will not get as tan. For spray tanning it is very important because you will get a longer lasting, even spray.
Q: Can I tan and do body waxing the same day?

Answer: Yes you can as long as you tan before any waxing is done.
TANNING PRODUCTS
Q: Can I use baby oil to tan?

Answer: To protect your skin, you need to use the correct tanning lotion. In our tanning beds you must use specific indoor tanning lotion to protect your skin and our beds. Outside you should always use sunscreen, you will still tan through the sunscreen without totally damaging your skin.
Q: To save money, can I use over-the-counter, outdoor tanning products to save money?

Answer: In our tanning beds you must use specific indoor tanning lotion. For tanning outside, you can use any tanning lotion but you should always wear sunscreen to protect your skin.
Q: I don’t know which tanning lotion is best for my skin type?

Answer: Come into our salon and one of our certified tanning consultants can recommend a lotion that will work best for your skin type!
